Surgical Center — this area of work consisted of a complete renovation of all interior finishes. The reception and check-in areas were modified with new wall layouts, millwork, wall covering, flooring, electrical, sprinkler
system for JAHCO accreditation. In the surgical corridor and operating rooms, all flooring had to be removed, shot blasted,
vapor sealed, and heat welded flooring installed. In addition, all walls and the ceiling grids were painted and the ceiling tiles were replaced. All 23 rooms which are for one (1) hour stay, including staff areas and check-in counter, were updated.





Orthopedic Center — this area of work consisted of the expansion of the four (4) Operation Room facility into a six (6) Operating Room Facility. The project required complete renovations and replacement of all mechanical and medical systems. In addition to the OR expansion, the existing VCT and acoustical ceiling was replaced with heat welded flooring and
washable ceiling tiles to meet JAHCO accreditation.

All work within the two (2) facilities, including the sterile areas, was performed at night or on weekends to avoid interruption of everyday patient care and operations.
